Amazing first album from all time greats Grand Funk Railroad! Pure, Raw, Loud Power from a solid, tight rock n' roll trio. Few if any special studio effects and not needed with these three men and just their instruments. There is some over dubbing but not a lot but everyone makes the best record they can make and G.F. R. did a great job here dicing up that they were going to become America's Band!

One of the best debut albums in rock and roll- and only gets better with follow up albums. Now that I'm a GFR fanatic once again at this stage in life - I realize GFR has been an on again/off again love afair since I was an 11 year old girl - and that's been a long time. Just love that Mark Farner (what a beautiful young man he was in his day - still makes my heart go a flutter,) And love Grand Funk Railroad! Their music makes me smile - it did back then as a kid and even more so now as an adult. They deserve much more respect than they have. And why the hell aren't they in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
Hadn't heard this album in decades. What a pleasure hearing this again, GFR were quite the band in the early 70s. An excellent remaster, sounds better than the original album.

The Music is played without Computers I think the music before 2000 is the best There is no fake sounds If you went to a concert Grand Funk was one of the best live bands along with Blue Cheer who showed how to play loud music without any computerized sounds

Their first album. It is great and I have now replaced my albums of Grand Funk with CDs. I listen to them as I drive. It's great to hear their music.
