I have been telling my children about the repercussions of making decisions and how one decision can impact an entire future. While many people watching Demolition Man may not see this; it really is the foundation of this movie. A society where smoking, candy, most food, sex have all become illegal as they are deemed not to be good for you. A police officer (Sylvester Stallone) is accused of causing the deaths of a bus full of citizens and is sentenced to cryogenic prison. The actual murderer is also convicted and sent to cryogenic prison. This criminal is used by a leading member of the goverment to eliminate an underground movement and it all goes wrong. Necessitating the release of the police officer to hunt him down. You get to see the outcome of bad decisions and actions to correct them. This is really a very good movie to teach morality and zealous morality. I would recommend this movie to anyone who has not ever seen it or saw it a long time ago and only watched it for entertainment and not the message contained within.Read full review
This is my first review that I'm writing so please bear with me. I bought this DVD because my best friend's boyfriend had told me that when he was a kid he remembers everytime that he watched Over The Top he would cry. So I couldn't resist to see him relive that moment. So I decided to buy the double feature DVD with Demolition Man and Over The Top because I have never watched Demolition Man. Unfortunately, we have not had the time to get together and watch Over the Top yet or for that matter Demolition Man. The DVD is still sealed. But hopefully we will watch it soon. I do remember watching Over The Top when it was released 23 years ago and it was a very good movie. Sylvester Stallone did great in the movie. Hope this review helps!

Demolition Man - Awesome movie with awesome, well-thought out actors/actresses, and an awesome story line. Too bad cars today didn't run like that. I'd be able to get some sleep, lol. No dislikes. I love a good action movie and this was action packed from beginning to end. Well done! 5 stars! Over the Top - Sylvestor Stalone is one awesome actor! He played great in this one! When this came out, I just remember him being "Rocky", so seeing him portray someone who is a different character made it more enjoyable to watch. Nothing bad being said about the "Rocky" movies, none at all. I loved how the movie seemed like it was a reality movie instead of a fake one. I've seen families like the son's grandfather and they pretty much nailed the movie to reality. Over all 5 stars in my book. My opinion might be different from yours and that's ok.Read full review
