Very glad to have discovered Jarvis, matured and yet not. Don't have much to say about it, but I give it 5 stars. It's easily in the top 100 of my CDs, which numbers close to 700. Very technically lovable.

This is a good album , Especially the last song , not listed on the album but right at the end of the disc. The best song I have heard in a while , it should be played on all the radio channels every hour every day until the ***ts get the message! Get rid of these useless greedy ***ts and get some real honest down to earth people who care about making this world a better place instead of making obscene amounts of money while many people on the planet don't have clean water or enough to eat.

Really impressed with the solo effort from Jarvis( Cocker). A lot of frontmen lose something without their fellow band members around them, not something that Jarvis is guilty of. 14 tracks not skimped on with great booklet complete with lyrics to save the embarrassment of singing the wrong lyrics with your friends listening! Richard Hawley, another Sheffield gem, adds his excellent skills to many of the tracks too. Check out Richard Hawleys solo albums too! & Paul Heaton too. Lots of good coming out of Sheffield, Artic Monkey's too.
Watch out for the Kids but otherwise excellent what else can I say about Jarvis Cocker but that he is incrdibably talented and well worth listening to.
The king of Brit pop has really pulled out all of the stops with this album. I was shocked to truely understand how good it actually was. He manages to encompass a varying degree of musical styles to a very fresh and raw style of music that will have you waiting for the follow up. Highly recommended album to buy, definitely one of the better solo albums released, maybe even better than Richard Ashcroft!
