Cage is about the size of a shoe box.. What was advertised to sea crabs.. Hahaha.. 39 bucks for 5 bucks of metal.

This trap is a lot smaller than advertised and it is definately too small to catch crabs in! The one and only opening for anything to get in is only about 3 inch x 3 inch . There is no way a crab can get in this trap. It might be ok for craw fish but really needs two openings on each end for them to get into the trap. It is a shame because the trap is well made and has a top opening so that the catch can be shaken out and into a bucket or ice chest. It really needs to be at least 6 inches wider, especially for the price.

This trap is really well built. I have it in my pond, now. So far, no crayfish went into the trap, but they're looking it and the bait over. I have high hopes!

Product is good would not recommend for crabing

This trap is well made but is fairly small. Also, the entrance into the trap is quite small which will limit any larger crawdads from getting in. I should have looked at the dimensions before I bought it.
