This audio tape has an excellent premise; but the execution is a bit tedious. As a business person, I am always looking for ways to improve the performance of my team. The title of Hope is not a Method appealed to me. The concepts of how the U.S. Army reconfigured itself after the fall of the Berlin wall, downsizing and expanding the use of technology are all interesting. The section that deals with common errors was very good. The authors spend too much time; however, patting themselves on the back for modernizing the Army and not enough time on correlating the process to the public sector. If you are open to a new way of managing a changing environment then this book has some good insights. If you are looking for a fast paced highly motivating book, then this is not the book for you.
