"A new take on the Stargate series. Much darker and more serious compared to SG1 and Atlantis. Good exploration of human emotions and fighting for survival. The acting is pretty good as well. The main drawback is that some episodes are very dull and lack an exciting element and towards the end things become altogether confusing and the show seems to lose the initial wonder at the start of the series. However, the finale was somewhat redeeming and should make for a good transition to the second season. I would recommend this to someone who is a fan of Stargate or a fan of science fiction in general but the average viewer would probably find this unappealing."

IT's a NEW TWIST ON A STELLAR STARGATE SERIES. IT's A NEW SITUATION EACH EPISODe. I Didn't Like the speed of the show as much but for the first season this is expected because like sg-1 and Atlantis the shows at the beginning start off slow and sooner or later get better and better.
