Palladium Books is no slouch when it comes to putting together highly detailed books and games, from cover to cover this book leaves very little out. You don't even have to own the series it's based on to enjoy the book. I bought this book for one reason, mecha, and Kevin S. lays them all out without missing a single note. Just about anything you want to know about the mecha is there and written to keep you reading. Almost all the art is done by Kevin Long, who is brilliant in his own right. Flipping through the book, you'll wonder who drew the mecha better, Mr. Long or the original artists. My only real complaints are, first, that I don't enjoy the system Palladium uses, but that's more my tastes than the book's fault. Second, the global information is a skimpy compared to the other sections. However, what's provided in this book is enough to run a successful game or just to keep for reference for anime buffs. There's people out there that say the book isn't 100% accurate to the series, but it doesn't hinder enjoyment of either for me. Overall, I love the book and the additional ones that followed it.Read full review

this book is fantastic. It has helped with my boyfriend's role playing games tremendously. It contains all the information he needs to build his mechs.
