Offers an "insiders" view of the working poor and what it takes to match income and basic living expenses. Considering the current amount of unemployment (and therefore the number of people who will actually have to "live" Ehrenreich's experiment of a person who is clearly NOT without means, but destitute because of the economy) in the US, it is a great reminder to us all to really care for one another, and not just in our thoughts and prayers.
Making my senior class read it- everyone should.

I had to read this book for a graduate level class. Usually those kinds of books are horrible. But this was a very easy read and enjoyable. Definitely brings to light the "working class" and the struggles endured just to make ends meet.
Very happy in great condition.A+

The book had a good price for what I wanted and was willing to pay, and a lot cheaper than what I could have bought it for anywhere else. Good quality book, and looks like it will be interesting.
