This is a book about the Battle of Arnhem (A Bridge to Far) as seen from the Polish point of view rather than that of the British or American. Unlike most factual books written about World War 2 battles this book is a really good read. The author does not concentrate of dry facts and figures but instead writes in a really engaging style as well as keeping to the facts. Unlike most books about this battle which are stiff and dry - this one is a delight to read, entertaining but also factual. Also controversal as the Polish report the facts of the Arnhem assult completely differently from their American / British counterparts. I highly recommend this book.
