This scanner arrived in excellent condition. I installed some local crystals in it and it sounds and looks great! I enjoy the audio and great receive sensitivity of the older crystal scanners. It works better than some of my programmable scanners!

SCANNER WAS LOADED WITH A NOAA WEATHER FREQUENCY IN ALL 10 CRYSTAL SOCKETS, ONE AT A TIME. THE SCANNER FAILED THAT RECEPTION TEST, IN LED/SOCKET NUMBER 4 AND 8. FURTHERMORE, LED #4 AND #8, WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE, WHATSOEVER, DESPITE ITS TOGGLE SWITCH POSITION.
