I bought this movie because my son loves Curious George and thought is was a full length animated movie. Instead it was short clip with clay people and two additional short clips of some other animals which was not good at all. I feel I wasted my money on this one but I might not have read the description close enough.
Daughter loves Curious George. I bought this to go in her portable dvd player for trips. Such a wonderful and curious little monkey! Great for any Curious George fan, or just for any child that loves monkeys!
Despite the cover, which would imply that this was a cartoon, it was in fact more like a short tv episode in a 1950s style (old-fashioned "dolls" narrated by adults). There were two other unrelated shorts on the DVD. Since I was expecting an entire DVD of Curious George cartoons (like on tv) or a full-length Curious George cartoon movie, this was quite disappointing. VERY old-fashioned in style.
Clay animation but well done. Not what you would expect though if you watch the PBS series. The voice of the man in the yellow hat is really different too.
not like the other DVDs this one came with clay figures and seemed quite boring. My toddler does not request to watch it nor complains if i put it on, but all other of his curious george's DVDs, he asks for them
