A lot of people place their phone up on a table. I have found that by doing this you could accidently drop something on the glass and break it. This otterbox protect the phone and you can lay it down, face side down and it is protected 100%. It is very light weight and looks very good.

I have seeral Otterbox cases and they are all excellent, this case is stylish light and offers great protection. Fits nice and tight maybe a bit on the slippery side though.
