I wouldn't call myself a Disneyphile (that would be my hubby), but I do especially love the animated shorts, so I love this collection. I somehow missed the original releases (my life was complicated back then, I guess). I have been able to get some of them at close to the original suggested retail prices, so I've been lucky. I would recommend this one to those who love the classic shorts. Not only do you get to see Mickey and Minnie (some I had not seen before), but the historical information gives them the context I enjoy.

Great history of Mickey Mouse! I was looking for Mickey’s Garden, but it is not in this DVD. Time frame is right - it was made in 1935, but it was in color and it is very difficult to find. I will keep trying to find it, but I enjoyed this one very much.

This second collection of Mickey Mouse Cartoons from the 1930's is superb, containing many cartoons seen complete for the first time. The cartoons from the "From The Vault" section are excellent and many racial cartoons are shown complete such as Mickey's Melodrammer, The Steeple Chase and Mickey's Man Friday. The quality of the DVD transfer is excellent and the transfer must have been made from 35mm. Great box and tin design, many fine extras. This collection stands up to anything from Warner Brothers in DVD quality
