This was my first luxury watch. I was in love with the guilloche face and the construction of the case which makes it appear like the watch is floating on the wrist. It is even more gorgeous in person than in pictures. There are three reasons I gave it four stars instead of five. One: the watch was artistically designed to have a somewhat distorted effect on its face reminiscent of the melting clock painting, but not as severe, and it makes it hard to tell time when the minute hand is between six and ten. The roman numerals take up too much room and instead of being able to see at a glance, I have to stop and see which tiny line the hand is on as the numeral spans more than the usual space and it might not yet be 6:40 even though the hand is touching the first letter of the VIII. Two: the band is slightly too small if I take out two links, it starts ok but by lunch it is cutting into my wrist, however, taking out only one has it flopping around my wrist which is both annoying and potentially harmful should the face smack into something and become damaged. Due to the construct of the bracelet, I am unable to remove one of the smaller links near the clasp which would give me more space than taking out two big ones. Three: pretty as the arch over the crown is, it makes setting the watch a bear. It is hard to grasp the crown as only the very edges protrude. If you get the battery version this is less of an issue, but I got the automatic and have enough watches it doesn't get daily use and often has to be reset. I am happy with it, but it is not perfect.Read full review
