the book is great because the chapters are concise and detailed at the same time.they are not in outline form like other series which make me need another book to research finer points. all chapters start with a mini anatomy lesson/reviews and follow a subject to subject format so no jumping around the chapter to get the total info on one subject. there are plenty of pictures to demonstrate points and plenty of charts to compare diseases side by side. also has learning objectives at beginning of each chapter. the only thing missing are the 20-30 questions and answers at the end of each chapter like in the third edition. i haven't gone to the online questions yet. but i have managed to read half the book rather quickly because the language is simple with bold highlights.
