This book has a wealth of information written in the language of today's teenagers. My 14 year old granddaughter read the book in no time and said she learned quite a bit of information on how to relate to boys. She isn't quite ready for the one-on-one dates to be sure. Just as she picked up pointers,I will be using the book to guide my other grandchildren as they reach the appropriate age.
I haven't given this to my daughter yet however after going over it myself, I believe it will be helpful for her. (Of course I am going to place it on her nightstand without saying anything just to avoid any embarrassments from her) Hope it helps anyway. Will update once I know. I wish the barcode hadn't been placed across the cover's title...but other than that I am very pleased.

I only read a few lines of the book, however, my thoughts were to provide tools (book) to help my young granddaughter. I trust these concepts. Even at 9 years old she is experiencing Peer Pressure with friends,"Boys,",the emotional roller coaster turn of events and just trying to understand what to do in situations. Anything we can offer to help along with parental counsel is an asset. This will help to prepare them with "Life's Little Challenges!"
I like the style of the book. I like the explanations and the real live scenarios. I do not like, all the examples, written all over the place. This is for a young, growing, girl and it seems a bit confusing trying to keep up with it all and explain. I guess I would say not a well organized book, almost like someone was talking to a friend and wrote what they heard.
Pretty good guide. Our girls found it very informative. They are ages 10 and 11. I personally haven't read it but the girls loved it.
