The motherboard for my HP 8440P works great but I had to purchase a different heat sink. There are two different versions of motherboards for this laptop and I did not know that until I purchased this one. It has the Nvidia GPU relocated near the CPU and my heatsink would not fit. Still is a good value as a replacement motherboard.
