I really enjoyed this movie. Being a fan of all the Indiana Jones films, I got a bit dissapointed. If you seen the movies before, you know that there's lots of action and adventure surrounding Indy. This time, they risked it by introducing Fiction to the movie. I liked the concept of this film, actors were great! But, this is not what Indiana Jones is about. I did see both of the Directors work, Lucas put the action and the adventure, while Spielberg introduced his fiction concept. I would've like Harrison Ford's role suited for his age. We see Ford fighting with the bad guys when he looks old and tired. They should've gave more action to Shia on this one. But the movie did pretty good and I liked the story. I added it to my Indiana Jones collection.
What do you think of Harrison Ford after watching this movie? I thought this Indiana Jones movie continued the same style as the previous trilogy and it is well worth the purchase. Although some critics say that there are some parts to this movie that are questionable, I believe the Franchise lives up to its name. It is a new original and imaginative plot that makes the Crystal Skull enjoyable. Crystal Skull loses some points because the producers could have made some improvements, but overall consider this movie for viewing pleasure if you are familiar with Indiana Jones. 4 out of 5 ,¸¸,ø¤ºº¤ø,¸¸,PLEASE VOTE FOR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THIS REVIEW,¸¸,ø¤ºº¤ø * ¸.•´¯)¸.•´¯) * Thank You* ¸.•´¯)¸.•´¯) *
Indy is back and this time trouble comes not only in his professional life but personal life as well! Professionaly? He must stop the Russians from getting the crystal skull and using its unknown powers for nefarious reasons. Personally? He will come face to face with his ex-lover Marion and their son Mutt as well as having to learn what happened to his good friend Ox! I am a big Harrison Ford fan and have enjoyed all of the Indy movies. However this one has to be my all-time favorite. It shows Indy is human and has to deal with normal human problems. Being afraid of snakes aside, he always seemed larger than life. Don't believe with me? See it for yourself? I give this movie a 10 outta 10 star!
I never thought I would ever see an Indiana Jones film in a movie theater. Not only did I see at the AMC, Theater in Spokane WA. But I saw it there twice. This filmed got a lot of mixed reviews and I can understand why. Much like the first three Star Wars movies you either praised George Lucas or you give him the D-Generation X crotch chop for ruining you're fragile childhood. I liked the movie when I saw it at The AMC and on this Blu-Ray Disc because you got what you payed for. Harrison Ford kicking major bum and some great action sequences. The story is very much like a B movie storyline. The video and Audio transfers are pitch perfect and the Special Features are all right. However, if you haven't seen this movie I would tell you to watch it on Amazon.com's Video On Demand, iTunes, or rent from your local library/Netflix/video store. Like I said, you'll either love it or despise it.Read full review
Arriving some two decades after the original trilogy of Indiana Jones films, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull brings the saga to a conclusion. Yes, the actors are older but they deliver the fun just like before, proving the old formula could still work.
