Every year I am asked to read my favorite book to our 5 year old class at my school. For several years I have been reading them "The Tale of Three Trees". I had even made "props" to go along with the story. The children love the story and at the end of the book, I give each child a small wooden cross to take home. Hurricane visited me in Sept. 2008 and destroyed my copy and my "props". When asked to read shortly after to the class, I had to tell the the book I was reading was really not my favorite, but the hurricane had taken my favorite book away, it just wasn't the same. After trying to recover, I thought about replacing my book an was thrilled to find it for a great price! This is an awesome and sweet Christian story!
Had this book for when my girls were little. Pastor of our church used it in children's time during a church service. Recently bought book for a Pastor friend of ours. Kept our book for future grandchildren now that our kids are grown, married & we are now empty nesters. Highly recommend book for boys or girls, young or old & adults too! One of my favorite books, great message.

This is a story I grew up with. My Dad used it to teach many a Sunday School class and I always loved. In my many rereadings of this tale to my own children I am still amazed at God's plan for everything and all of us. He knew the 3 trees in this tale would serve a greater purpose, so I know he has a greater plan for me as well.
I love this book, I buy it for my great-nieces and nephews!! Makes me cry, in a good way!
