Remember that classic anime you learn about when you where into anime. NEW Fist of the North Star contains all the amazing fighting action and head popping destruction once again. This time around, 16:9 company with computer graphic blending this anime into a master piece for true anime collector. All 3 series in one DVD, and doesn't take up all that space in your collection. It is worth showing off all your anime friends this excellent classic but in NEW format with CG incorporated. I give this new series 4/5 and that's very good in my book. It would been 5/5 if this has up to 12 parts. I wanted more and more. Perhaps one day New Fist of the North Star will have more future release, we never know. ^_^
I bought the complete collection of New Fist of the North Star I was very happy that it was all in one DVD disc. I don't think I would of bought it separetly since the movie wasn't what I expected especially seeing the orginal Fist of the North Star. Yes this New First of the North Star has better quality and more heads exploding but I didn't like the story line and the way the words were coming out of the characters. I feel there were times like they were talking in mono tone, but hey that's me. My younger brother says he likes New Fist of the North Star better than the orginal 1986 Fist of the North Star. I'm still glad I bought because I want it in my collection. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes plenty of heads exploding.
I decided to buy new fist of the north star to add to the old fist of the north star episodes i already have. Does it compare to the old episodes? Not a chance in my opinion. Although it technically looks better the old episodes had a quality about them the new fist just cannot compete with.
I loved the old FONT so I had to get this new one. There was less fighting in this one and the stiryline wasnt as , strong but its a good film in its own right.
