The book obviously deals with the life and times of Country's biggest star ever -George Jones. It is very interesting indeed because of all of the recollections George himself does about his past, but it also gives a rather interesting look at the sort of life people had in the southern USA during after the depression. Myself, being a foreign historian, I found it both, captivating and useful to get a glimpse at the different ways of life of the average citizens of the USA. The edition lacks of a name index listing. But it's still a great read. 5 stars -no doubt!
I really enjoyed the book. Also lots of nice photos. Would recommend it to all of George,s fans

Excellent Read , Truth Telling , Cannot Be More Truthful , Legendary Mr.George Jones. I was blessed and honored to have met him in 1991 and see him four times in concert. He like Conway, Waylon , Merle , Buck , and on ... Shoes Will never be Filled.
