One of great French director Robert Bresson's more accessible films to those familiar with or brand-new to his work. But make no mistake--this is far from an action/adventure film. The Knights of the Round Table have returned from the Crusades, disillusioned and in disarray. Some blame Lancelot for their failure because he is having an affair with Guinevere. Condition, although it was accurately identified as previously viewed, is excellent. Packaging is in great shape and the disc played just fine. Highly recommended.

The late, Great French Director struck Gold with his " Lancelot of the lake"; magnificent cinematography, and "realism" carried Bresson in this movie as it has throughout an underestimated carrer. The brutality of that Era is captured like no other Medival movie. A must-see!
