This is a cd that I I use as background mudic for the Fresnel Lens that we have at the Westport Maritime museum. The music is perfect and Seems to be popular as we have had 3 cd's of this stolen so far. I was so glad to see that I was able to get 2 more cd's. I am a docent at the museum and the one who did all the research on the lens and bought the original cds. We have the only Fresnel lens in the world that is Operating OUTSIDE of a lighthouse and it is all original even though it was built in 1879.You can check out Fresnal lens on internet for more information.Ours is the largest.I previewed several cd's . but this one is the best!
This CD is exactly what it describes itself to be. Close your eyes and you can imagine yourself on a deserted beach. I use it when meditating or when I want to drown out unwanted noise around me. The only aspect I found slightly irritating was the sound of a boat horn periodically. There are also bird sounds which were a plus as it made the setting more realistic. I would give this CD an excellent rating.
. I bought a cd with only ocean sounds, no music and after 10 minutes of listening to all the waves and bird noices, it was easy to forget you are not at the beach. The cd was brand new, wrapper unopened. I couldn't have picked out a better selections of all kinds of bird sounds, ocean creature sounds and a few tugs and small boat sounds if I had recorded it myself.. I am extremely happy to have this soothing sounds on the days I am feeling out of Sorts.
This is an excellent cd, it doesn't sound pre-recorded like some relaxation cds. The sounds on this cd a various and blend together just right to make you believe that your actually on the beach. The ocean surf is constant, but there are bird sounds that come in and out to simulate them walking up to you, foghorn sounds, even rustling of leaves. A well done cd, and I was surprised by the attention to detail.
Nice ocean sounds and seagulls but could have done without the ship fog horns which totally destroyed the mood.
