This early Sesame Street book was published in 1980. Bert, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Rodeo Rosie, Oscar the Grouch, Herry Monster, Grover, The Count and Betty Lou are all entering their pets in the Sesame Street Pet Show. Ernie has a small brown paper bag and says that his pet is inside. All the pets win a special prize. Ernie's pet is a lightning bug and he gets a prize for the "Brightest Pet"! My daughter loved these Sesame Street books when she was young. Now I am reading them to my grand daughter.
