These minis are addicting. They come in various themes such as Classic, Mettallic, Robot, Racers, and the fantastic DC Friends theme. They are miniatures of the Thomas and friends series. This makes the trains easily recognizable to any child familiar with the series. It is a well made very detail oriented product. There are companion products available. The only problem I find is not with the product but with how the merchandise was packaged and presented. To get some of the exclusive themes a person must purchase a specific product and by doing so you will not only have the speciality theme you was looking for but you ended up with a bunch of doubles of trains you may have already purchased in these blind bags. No fun.

Great toy, my son loves the surprise in the bag.. If you're smart you'll look up the codes or you'll end up with 6 of the same train and never complete a collection lol. It's great how they come in all different themes. I absolutely recommend a case! Or they will get lost! The round cases only fit 16, and cost abOut that new. Go with the box case that has a pic of Thomas on it, it holds 50 trains and it's under $13 at Target.

My son is a Thomas fanatic and when it's time to go on a road trip he can take the minis and am with them as apposed to the motorized that are great for at home play but not so great for car rides. They hold up well to be so small. My son is almost 3 and he smashes and crashes them with no harm done to the toys.
