The unit I was shiped did not come with the OEM chargers but it did come with An OEM charger. Just not an ASUS one. Also the unit has obviously had a screen replacement and the customer Ron installed one the unit was buggy and laggy as hell. After installing a different custom ROM it functions adequately.

The 1st generation Nexus 7 is a great tablet for doing basic web browsing and reading books. The screen in my opinion is great for reading a book and I like that the text looks so crisp on the screen. The screen is very nice, but sometimes the experience can be a little choppy. Since the product is a bit old you can see that the hardware is aging a bit and the software is starting to run slower on it. Most people probably won't notice the difference, but I am stickler for this. For the price I paid for this tablet it was well worth it. The 8gb size is perfectly fine, you really don't need anything bigger since almost everything is stored via cloud storage or not locally on the tablet. Unless you use this primarily as a music player or a medium to watch movies you should be fine with the 8gb of space.Read full review
This is review for the first 2012 generation nexus 7. Screen resolution is relatively fine. Pad is to heavy and because its back edge is round, it is slipping out of your hand (if you hold it with one hand). I prefer sharp edge on the back as on newer Samsung pads. Maybe this is why I am not going to buy Nexus 2013 and look elsewhere. Sure it works great. I mean, everything else is like butter. Two more points. 7 inch screen seems to be bit to small where 10 inch to big. I believe 8 inch pad is perfect. Also, Nexus 7 2012 sadly is not dual band WiFi and that makes huge difference in busy apartment complex.
~ Bought this tablet mainly to use as an e-reader, and an intermediary between my iPhone and laptop. (tech obsessed, I know) ~ I LOVE the screen resolution. Amazingly crisp; I'd been used to only the generic tablets' 800x400 resolution screens, and this one is so beyond superior. I would compare it to my iPhone 4s screen in quality. Extremely responsive and NO lag whatsoever yet. ~ I did not know that this doesn't have an SD card slot, so no expandable memory--that was my fault for assuming, as every Android device I've had has had this feature. Luckily, I don't need much more storage than this one provides, though this is a bummer of a missed feature. ~ Battery lasts FOREVER. Days and days it's sat, even with wifi on, and percentage barely falls. Crazy. It's only died on me once when I was experimenting how long it'd take. ~I just absolutely love this tablet. I'm a fan of both Mac/PC and Android/iOS, so I can write an unbiased review. I would definitely buy this over ANY iPad, simply because of the price (I purchased mine practically new for $96 with shipping). I was actually looking for a used/possibly damaged FIRST gen iPad simply to have a tablet in the $100 range--no such luck. This was a much better purchase. Love, love LOVE!!!Read full review
