I found these puppies ... and items like it for Cry Baby Wahwahs .. because I was repairing a Mesa guitar amp that used similar components in their EQs. And the size and shape were identical The values I needed .. 1H, 0.39H, 0.22H ..were not available, but by adjusting the capacitors proportionally I was able to incorporate them. Incidentally the value specified .. 500 millihenries .. was off. Both of the ones I obtained were 670 mH and 720 mH. I don't wonder the sound in a Wah pedal would be changed.

SOUNDS EXACTLY-- EXACTLY the same as the Yellow inductor And both of those sound EXACTLY- EXACTLY the same as my TDK 5103 rectangular inductor from the 70's. Tested extensively against each other, with an instant comparing switch. No difference. They all sound fine. Don't expect something different. Just saying.

Not the easiest thing to install, but definitely adds something to the sound of wah pedal. More musical and “open” sounding: it’s just better.

Works well. Easy to install if you have any soldering skill at all. I was rebuilding an old Thomas Cry Baby pedal. I bought a new PCB that is a clone of an original Vox pedal. The parts kit didn't come with an inductor so I decided to try this one. Great tone!
