This product is not great by itself. It's an expansion set for the Ticket to ride game. You have to have the original Ticket to ride game in order to use this expansion set. The reason I gave this product 5 stars is because the playing cards in the original game are very small and kind of a pain to play with. The USA 1910 expansion set fixes this problem by replacing the cards with bigger cards that are much more user friendly. It also adds some new cards to the game as well. So, the original game is ok to play, but the USA 1910 expansion set makes it a lot more fun.

The larger cards and added destinations really add to the original game. My daughter and I play it together so we adopted 'House Rules.' Each of us pick 2 train colors and intermingle the 2 colors as we build our trains, doubling a person's chances of reaching many blocked destinations because we can reach destinations by longer routes with the additional trains. We play until all the destination cards are gone....pick 4 at a time - must keep only 1, but often a person has already reached many of the destinations from previous routes. Secret is to pick 4 destinations each time your opponent picks because this expanded game offers 15 extra points to the person who reaches the most destinations. After the first person reaches all their destinations, opponent has one more play to possibly fill their last destination. We have developed lots of other strategies when only 2 players play, and this expanded version has provided HOURS of enjoyable fun!Read full review
