My daughter was dying to see this old Disney movie and although I have copies of so many Disney classics, I didn’t have this one! It is another sweet, fun story with memorable songs from the great Walt Disney and this copy even includes a segment about how the movie was made which was fascinating in this day and age of digital animation. A treasure!

Every movie library needs a Peter Pan. Its very enlightening and fun. Great way to escape the doggy world and just sit back and relax. This was a nice reminder of our childhood. My puppy loves it too.

We've watched this movie no less than 30 times since Christmas with our 2 yr old!! She loves it! It also has a very interesting tidbit at the end about the making of the movie with Walt Disney himself. I really prefer VHS to DVD for my toddler because of the plastic casing. It is easy for toddlers to learn which side fits into the VCR properly etc. Plus they really are much more economical.
This is a delightful fantasy story for children (and adults if your like me). The story has a central theme of family importance and especially mothers. the swashbuckling, high flying, daring Peter Pan is constantly stalked by the evil Captain Hook who lost his hand to Peter. Peters right hand man is a little fairie named Tinkerbell. Her fairie dust will allow mortals to fly. All in all it is one Walt Disneys best movies and everyone should see and enjoy it.
I have always loved anything Disney. His movies are wonderful for children. I admired him greatly for his foresight! So many of todays childrens movies and cartoons have so much violence in them. Walt Disney stressed goodness and morality in his films. Cute stories with a "happily ever after" ending. They are good clean fun for children of all ages. Even oldies but goodies like myself. A great movie.
