My husband is the "stay at home" partner in our family. Linda Cobb writes in an entertaining and straightforward manner and her tips for tackling many of your everyday household cleaning challenges are fabulous! My husband has happily saved lots of money, using the techniques in this book rather than trying the myriad of products which all promise success, but often fail to deliver! I highly recommend this book to the beginner or the veteran housekeeper, whether the house you are keeping is your own or another's.Read full review
I need all the help I can get and as I am now a recent widow and also 79 years old I don't have the energy and enthusiasm I might, might, have had when I was younger. the author has a fresh approach and uses ordinary products I think I will be able to use many of her methods when I actually feel like tackling the job myself.(hehe). As it is I will probably continue to call my nice young neighbor who is available and tell her to come on over and get the wretched job done for me. I suppose I really should give the book to her.
It's an excellent book with every know how on everyday things on hand that can be used for cleaning. The author is very knowledgeable on things to clean just about anything. I heard about the book from a friend who is maticulous on her household cleaning. Am very happy to have purchased the book.
Great book for a homemade cleaning recipes. The one for walls works wonderfully.
