This doll is 3rd in a series of 3 from Hallmark. The first two are much more impressive than the 3rd. Did not buy this one when originally released in 1996, when I bought on eBay remembered why. All dolls come with replicas of Holiday Hallmark Christmas Greeting Cards which is a nice touch, the clothing are also beautifully chosen to reflect the Victorian Era. The big difference with this 3rd doll is: her box is considerably smaller than the previous two, the three boxes next to one another spoils the display, she also does not come with as impressive of wardrobe/assocesories as the previous two which each had a story in addition to their Victorian theme (#1 has ice skates and a cute muff to warm her hands, #2 has a beautiful chapeau complete with holly berry, it would have been better to have #3 with an emerald ring or earings to match her broach, instead plain gold not so relfective of the Victorian Era), these are all faults of Hallmark not the seller from eBay. If you only buy the first two you'll have a nice pair, the third might only be for the die-hard collector. One nice item, her outfit is emerald green which is a nice balance to the dark maroon on #1 and the off white/holiday red on #2. My personal favorite is #2 with her fur and bright satin outfit.Read full review

This 1996 Victorian Barbie Special Edition Doll sold by Hallmark is stuning! She is beautifuly dressed in an emerald silk skirt with a velvet form fitting jacketand pruse to match. They are both trimmed in gold. Her beautiful auborn hair makes her stand out like a jewel set in a crown. Her signature Barbie smile gives you an immediate feeling of happiness. She was a great addition to a winter display I created for Christmas.I will cherish her for many years to come
