I bought this book as a gift. I love this book. It's more a memoir than a complete autobiography (there is a sequel: WHAT DO YOU CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK?) The author is a brilliant physicist (now deceased) with a rationally eccentric perspective. He is the guy who, when participating in the CHALLENGER disaster inquiry, focussed on the 'O' rings and destroyed the manufacturer's 'proof' that the 'O' rings were safe at freezing temperatures by dipping one into his ice water; pulling it out & crumbling it. Feynman as a young man working on the MANHATTAN project drove the military nuts by being able to access top secret 'A' bomb materials locked in safes. The book is worth buying just for the chapter 'safecracker meets safecracker'. I howled. Better than fiction.
Seeing how a genius deals with the world. What amazes me is how, seemingly mundane, things can amaze him.
