This D-Link and all of their products are really "USER FRIENDLY". I was able to fix my wireless network and it was so easy. The CD-instruction manual was the only difficult task. It didn't open up and install the drivers right away. You had to open up D-Link program files and toy around a bit and experiment. But once you got it to install on set-up I was a piece of cake. I have tried all the different name brand routers. D-Link and Linksys are about the best systems to use. I just don't understand why these routers go on the blink about every two to three years? Then you have to start all over again. I highly recommend buying this D-Link system.
I read many reviews, prior to purchase, and found alot that thought this router is junk. I found some that said it was excellent. I'd recommend the WBR-1310. Make sure your internet connection is still operating upon insertion of the CD. One of the first things it does is search for updates. It shows pictures step by step. It couldn't be easier. Less than 20 minutes. Swapping wires plugging in and unplugging. I mixed up a few sequences and just hit back and all is well. The laptop picked up the signal no problem. Its a wonder why so many bad reviews are out for this unit. I don't really care for external antennae, so asthetically its not the best. Tough is it a fairly compact unit. I bought the unit upon reading many reveiws about it and other makes/models. The price, design where my final compromise. Glad I bought it.Read full review

In my old age I get some spinal arthritis, which makes it hard to sit at a desk for long periods. So I got this wireless router to enable a good portion of my writing (and associated research) to be done on a laptop while sitting more comfortably elsewhere in the house. At less than $20, this is one of my best investments ever. It all worked first time, except for the security password that was less than clear, and that was not a high priority since not many people live nearby. An horizon-buster; good value, D-Link.
Pretty nice looking router , the cost wasnt that bad but could have been a little better. It performs pretty well however , and is pretty reliable. Has 4 ports available. Not good for more than 40 or 50 feet away , signal weakens but great for sitting oout on the deck and getting a laptop or mobile device to be wireless.
