Bernie and Libby Simmons walk into the wrong funeral. As they search for the correct one they run into funeral home director, Mr. Hanson. He is anxious for the girls to follow him out to the old part of the cemetary. He opens a coffin to a newly dug grave and there is Ted Gorman, the same Ted that was killed in a burning auto cash several months ago! Marne, his widow, even identified the body because of a ring on Ted's finger. Mr. McDougal is the person who is suppose to really be in that coffin, but he can't be found anywhere. The sisters are again on an investigation for Mr. Hanson and Marne to find out why Ted's body looked like he was just killed....and not burned. Ms. Crawford's books improve each time but the editiors still are not catching all the mistakes in print. The Simmon sister's dad, Sean, adds a lot of insight into the mysteries and since he is an ex-cop, though disabled, he can find out more info for them. The sisters are totally different from one another and that is what keeps the story fresh.Read full review
