This book is an awesome piece of guitar history. Excellent full color pictures and foldouts of guitars you may never see anywhere else. This book has everything the Chinery Collection has and more, and at a much more reasonable price. If you want an expensive collectible, get The Chinery Collection. If you want a book you won't be afraid to look at and can leave on the coffee table and read whenever you want, get The History of the American Guitar by Tony Bacon. You won't be disappointed.
