This is one of the most delightful "lost treasures" I have ever seen this sure is one great cd. The songs are excellent (except the last one which I just don't much care for) and the production quality is really high. Although the band did get some recognition later on for "When I'm With You" (and deservedly so, it is really a great song), this band never really "made it". Unfortunately this is the only recording that was released. I've read that interal conflicts over song writing, song choices, and, believe it or not, singing (I've read that the keyboardist wanted to sing more - he's a decent singer, but compared to Curci's incredible vocal prowess, he should just play the keys) led to the break up of the band. Freddy and Steve D. (guitar) went on to join with Steve Fossen, Roger Fisher, and Michael DeRosier of Heart to form the band Alias, which also released a killer AOR album (you may remember the song "More Than Words Can Say"). If you like AOR style, then you know about this great material, kinda a one of from a band that coulda done so much more...I recommend if you don't already own this, then you need to buy it!Read full review
Sheriff was a good band.. mainly because of the Freddy's amazing vocals and Steve's awesome guitar playing. They were definitely underrated and Arnold's ego got the best of them and the band broke up. Arnold refused to reunite, so Freddy and Steve created Alias, along with the 3 guys from Heart. Alias was 10x better than Sheriff because all of the members were talented and knew what they were doing. No egos there, just amazing music. It was a shame they disbanded because they were perfect together. Poor promotion of their music caused the band to, not fail, but their music was not put out there and had it been, they would have been a top band. Overall, this CD is good, but check out the 2 Alias CDs, they are amazing.
I wanted to learn 1 of their songs and it was of good quality.

Great cd!! They were an awesome band! The vocals and the music equally great. The lead singer went on to start the band Alias. I wish Sheriff would have stayed together.
I LIKE THIS CD BECAUSE IT'S MUSIC I LISTENED TO WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER. I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE MY HUSBAND WAS PLAYING A 45 RECORD ONE DAY AND HE PLAYED THIS SONG FROM THE GRUOP AND I WANTED THE CD.
