I bought this light for my 8 year old son. He was ecstatic. This light brightens his room every night. I love to watch the lava bubbles float around. The colors are vibrant and unique. My only issue I have with the light is how hot it becomes when in use. It becomes so hot that I feel if left for any duration, this could cause serious burns. I make sure to warn my child and use care when handling.

I enjoy watching the bubbles as they move up and down in the lava lamp. Also, it's nice to turn it on at night when you sleep, but I sometimes turn my lamp off because the light keeps me awake. It would have been nice if the lava lamp had a button or dial to adjust the brightness.

Our son has wanted a orange and red lava lamp forever and I could not find one with good reviews. I'm so happy to say the bulb worked, the wax melted about 4 hrs after we plugged it in and he absolutely loves it. It bubbles like it's suppose to and looks really good.
