I always liked this movie. Sort of a modern day Indian Jones except with a female lead whom you would never expect would go on a real life adventure. I had the VHS, Laserdisc, and the standard DVD edition at one time. The Blu Ray offers a great quality picture and sound. New extras transferred from the re-release of the DVD with new artwork and a retrospective lookback. My only complaint is that among the original DVD extras, the trailer was absent. Perhaps it is saved for a special edition release later but it would have been nice to have been included as the sequel includes its original trailer. Otherwise a great Blu Ray disk, all in all.
Bluray has a very good picture and sound. A good movie for Douglas, does better off the screen as with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
