Most precious gift
This is a graduation gift to my granddaughter for her academic achievement in earning her B.S. degree. Though I haven't heard from her, I have no doubt she will grow to appreciate this, as this Holy Qur'an in this interpretation is the BEST gift on earth I could give her. In time, she will grow to appreciate,cherish and to pass this Book to her own grandchildren. I could not have given her a more precious and valuable gift if I had spent all the money on this earth. I too have two of this precious Book in this interpretation.

This offers a very comprehensive and thorough write-up for each surah prior to reading the surah itself. I have other books by Abdullah Yusuf Ali, and his work in and understanding of the subject is impeccable. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who wants a greater insight into the meaning of the Holy Qur'an. Outstanding!
