I was sure I was going to enjoy this, but I got really tired of it over the course of about 30 minutes. Each minor fight seemed to take too long... there was no real danger from the opponents, but I still had to go through the same steps and finish them off with my sword. The finishing stab was cool the first few times, but then I started wishing there was a way to beat them without running them through, since the animation for that was so long. He sticks his sword through the opponent and then every single time has to raise his boot and struggle to extract his sword before moving on. Pretty, but really tiresome after a while. Finally, the prancing walk was funny, but looked so awkward that it was a distraction. Does he really move like that ALL the time? I tried to get into it, but eventually put it away knowing I would never play it again, so I sold it.Read full review
My son has loved every second of the new game that was purchased through eBay. He loves the fact that he gets to play certain parts of the movie and using his imagination at the same time. Now for the older generation of gamers the tactics and play of the game seem to be a little bit repetative, but still fun. In some areas of the game it takes just a little bit of puzzle solving on your part to proceed to the next area. This game sticks pretty close to the storyline of the movie, but expands the Pirates of the Caribbean universe even more. There are also some very good side missions to complete you make Jack Sparrow more powerful with his sword. Graphics, uh yeah, they are ok. But nothing to rant and rave about. Still the game is highly recommended!!
i got it cause i love pirate games. you get to play live spots from the movie. tons of fun. i reason i decided to get it was i had played the other games and loved them. so i figured i would not be able to go wrong with pirates of the caribbean: dead mans chest. sdo if your looking for a good game to play on your psp this is one you cant miss.
This game was quite fun. The single player is a bit short, but so far i have only beaten the easy mode. Multiplayer is also really good and includes Gameshare capabilities
Yeh, I'm a kid at heart...65yrs of me..but I like a challenge and tho this is a teenage rated game, it fits me to a tee! It has great graphics and actions to help my mind stay alert, probably a good thing too. I must say I love my PSP my son gave me!
