Isis was a television show on Saturday mornings in the mid 1970's when cartoons dominated Saturday am programming. She shared a spot with SHAZAM! and became such a hit that DC gave her a spot in SHAZAM! #25 for a debut and then on to her own series for 8 issues. The SHAZAM series only lasted 10 more issues to #35 before the character was moved to World's Finest Comics in a back up spot, and Isis was not seen again in the DC universe until later when Black Adam returned and she is mentioned as his wife. Now DC is possibly adding the character to the upcoming SHAZAM! movie featuring Black Adam, which should reinvigorate this old series. With only 8 issues in the run, interested parties should find them while they can...at a still-reasonable rate.
