I'm definitely not a fan of Denise. Compared to most other DVD fitness instructors, she comes across as disorganzied and goofy. There are often many flaws in her routines that should have been edited. It is her style to be overly enthusiastic and talk to viewers as if they were small children. Additionally, most of her workouts are simply not challenging enough. That said, this particular DVD is an exception. There are two 20-minute routines, one alternating cardio & weights and the other using a weight throughout, kettlebell style. Both are pretty intense, especially when using heavy weights and the cardio is high impact. There is also a 7-minute bonus ab section that is well done. There are a couple of things that could have been improved, but overall, it's pretty good, fun and effective, and the only workout of hers that is worth doing in my opinion.Read full review
A great workout that incorporates a lot of different formats like kettlebell and others. Denise Austin is a very thorough and safe instructor. She gives variations for different levels of ability - for both less experienced and very experienced. I like to have different kinds of DVD's at home for when I can't get to the gym and this one is a great addition.
