Chad Waterbury knows what he's talking about. His book does a great job of laying out the basics of what it takes to get big and strong...lift heavy weights fast! He also includes a wide variety of compound movements that are useful and functional.
Excellent fitness book from a well known trainer/weight lifter. Book gives good advice on diet, warm-up, stretching, and basic lifts. The book is geared toward anyone who want to just bulk up and add tons of muscle fast using heave lifts for small 4-6 RM with a total goal of 25-40 depending on the excercise.
I like it because the author studies how the human brain and body work. You learn how to incorporate your biggest muscles in your workouts to get bigger. I decided to buy this book because i was at a plateau. I wanted to get bigger and this book helped me.
