My semi-obession with Vincent Price started about a year ago. I knew of him growing up, but really didn't get into him until I started watching his movies later in life. I wanted to know more about him; his life. So I purchased this book written by his daughter. I read it in record time and found out so much I didn't know. Like when he starred in Bagdad, he squinted the whole time. The reason why was because he and his wife, Mary, attended a Halloween party before production started and he injured his eye when his costume ingnited. He did the movie and I think the squint added to the character. It was quite interesting to know that fact while watching the movie. There is alot more information in the book about his life, his movies, his family and how he came to be one of the Kings of Horror movies. He not only loved doing movies, cooking and acting in plays, but he was involved in the arts and was a major driving force early on in his life and career in informing the public about various artists, art periods, and types of art. I think his daughter did a wonderful job writing this book about her Dad. I loved the inside pictures which gave a glimpse of the man and his private/public life. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.Read full review
