The book has a lot of detail and goes in depth about the pathophysiologies, sigsn and symptoms and interventions. Certain things it repeats several times within the same chapter and helps reinforce the content. The book is a little bigger than others but if you like in depth information that will no be an issue. This book was requiered by my instructor but if you are a pediatric nurse it would be a good resource to have.
I bought Wong's Nursing Care of infants and children for my nursing class. I started reading this book yesterday, and it's really useful for my class & my career.
It is big! I decided to buy it because it was a class requirement! Duh! Out dated in alot of information.....or maybe its my teacher...who knows!
Tells all the basic of peds that you will ever need to know. This is a timeless book and no differnt then the current version.
