Not typical of Adam Ant's style, nor is it one of his popular albums, but it's become one of my favorites by the man. Adam's last album was 1985's "Vive Le Rock" which, while good, faded fairly quickly from the charts. As music styles changed, Adam changed with it, deciding to go in a more pop-dance oriented direction. The result was 1990's "Manners & Physique". While it left fans of Adam's "Dandy Highwayman" confused and underwhelmed, it still garnered face time on MTV and spawned a couple of songs that made the charts -- "Room at the Top", "Rough Stuff," and "Can't Set Rules About Love," the later song has become one of my favorites and one he's been playing on his 2017 Anthems Tour. There are some great tracks that flew under the radar on this one. there are the three songs listed above, but also the title track "Manner's & Physique," "Piccadilly," "USSA," and "Anger Incorporated" also deserve mention. So if you're an Adam Ant fan looking for something resembling Adam's Kings of the Wild Frontier or Prince Charming phase, you're likely to be disappointed with this album. But if you're looking for something upbeat, poppy, with Adam's penchant for lyrical wordplay, check out "Manners & Physique".Read full review

This is not like any of Adam Ant's music. I love he older music, but this cd is not like it at all. I wished I did not even buy this cd and I would still have my $5.00.
