It's been six long years since the extraordinary dream they called Jurassic Park came to deafening, screaming, crashing hault. The park dismantled, the dinosaurs destroyed, the island closed indefinitely to public. And now there are rumors that something has survived. Here comes yet again an exciting sequel of Jurassic Park, The Lost World, from the excellent author of many other great books such as: Jurassic Park, Sphere, Congo, and Airframe. Michael Crichton is also the creator of the show E.R. Micheal Crichton is perfect for someone that likes science fiction thats not to far fetch or unbelievable. I personally just can't seem to be able to get enough.
Jurassic Park: The Lost World is a sequel novel to Jurassic Park by Micheal Crichton. The Lost World storyline is good and does take many twist and turns and features new dinosaurs not mentioned in the first novel. However, I liked the first novel better then this one because the first novel had a more believable storyline that can be related to and had better characters. The Lost World also has stronger language that would want to be considered before letting younger ones to read it. But overall it is a good book and still should be read by fans of the feature film.
I lost mine. When going through my library to sort books I wanted to keep and ones I wished to donate, I noticed I was missing this book from my favorite author, Michael Crichton, I immediately ordered an original and was quite satisfied with my purchase.

If you have seen the original Jurassic movies, and you want the real story. This is a good read. You will see where the scenes came from. The one scene I wish they had left in the movie is how they found out the animals were breeding. Oops: that was in Jurassi Park book, you better read that one also. Malcom proves the chaos theory and fractals.

This sequel to Jurassic Park takes place 6 years after the event of the first story. This one follows the path of Ian Malcolm as he is taken to the unknown site B. Dinosaurs are roaming free and the intensity is high when the humans are trapped on the island, having to fight their way through the island to get away. Very intense action and good pace keep this story going. From the first dino attack all the way to the rescue you will feel you heart begin to pump as you delve farther and farther into this land of walking giants.
