We buy these annually. They are affordable;e enough to replace but they are simply not made well, the seams often pull apart in the seat) after a few uses and no activity level. I know that your "WEIGHT is the main factor with them. Very sensitive to a person's weight, let's say, if you over 160 lbs, these will have a very limited life, even if you just float in it and are not so active. I'm 120 lbs and a friend is well over 200 lbs, and every year his seams pull apart, more than once, he's replaced 2 in a season even.

I have used this exact float for several years. Each one I had lasted me at least through an entire summer or even longer. Yes, eventually it may go, but for the price it's way more durable than those thinner plastic tubes that often cost just as much. The plastic is thicker and holds up well. The only exception might be if you have younger kids who use it very roughly, but that's probably for any floatie!

This is the 2nd time I've bought this chair. I bought two at a store and they bottoms eventually broke from the arms at the seam. Since they're not terribly expensive I bought more - we love hanging out in these.

Like the float but think the photo showing two is a bit deceiving. I should have read the description more closely. I am told these can be bought at Wal-mart in the spring for a much better price. I don't know that to be fact but will check in the spring to see.
