This scent I have revisited after owning and using it when I was in my late teens, early 20's in the 1980's. I seriously don't know how I could have let her go! I recently was seeking the vintage of this beauty as I had heard from others that it has been reformulated. Thank God there are still some of these beauties available because this is like Christmas in a bottle! Actually if I were to discribe EL Cinnabar vintage, I am thinking this is a cross between spicy Christmas scents (food and candles) and the incense spices you would smell in the Catholic church. At first spray, (and you only need one with this powerhouse), I smell the spices, Cinnamon and incense for the first several hours, then the Amber, Sandalwood and Patchouli enter into the mix. Finally I can smell the Tangerine coming through. Yes she is strong so you may wish to consider spraying her into the air and walking into the mist. Longevity and Sillage are HUGE so one spray is definitely sufficient but that is for me, at least LOL! Overall, if you like the ingredients mentioned and super powerhouse scents, like the other ones in the 80's and 90's (think vintage Opium and vintage Obsession) you definitely have to try this one out! And if it mixes well with your body chemistry you will have a scent that will last you for a long time. A beautiful scent that saves you money!Read full review

Love this fragrance. Smells like a cross between cloves, cinnamon and baby powder. Don't usually purchase Estee Lauder fragrances because always thought they were for your mom or grandmom but this one is warm and romantic. Ok, so I'd describe this as slightly older lady compared to my usual perfume choices, but I absolutely had to add it to my collection for those days that I was feeling (or need to feel) slightly sophisticated. The cinnamon is obviously the dominating scent in this perfume, but it isn't over powering (provided you don't use too much!).
