For the person who makes his own weights and jigs it will work good. I use it on my Coleman cook stove to melt the lead. The pot has a lip on the back where you can clamp on your vise grips to pick up the pot and pour the lead directly into your mould.

Well made. With proper use, it should last a lifetime; however, (here it comes) this LITTLE MINIATURE POT will only hold a few ounzes -- maybe as much as a pound of lead, no more. Fine if you are going to cast a few sinkers or mini balls but no good for casting anything of any size. The listing photos have no scale. Make sure this pot is right for your needs. I bet I find something to use it for. Afterall, it's a cool pot.
